Rotary Eye Bank Inauguration at Joseph Eye Hospital
TELC Joseph Eye Hospital, Trichy, received the Rotary Eye Bank under a Global Grant from The Rotary Foundation. The inauguration was held on 9th August 2025, led by Rtn. Er. Muruganandam M, Rotary International Director, and blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. A. Christian Samraj, Bishop of TELC, in the presence of Rtn. Srinivasan, major donor.
The event was graced by Mr. R. Thangapazham, Secretary, Ven. Church Council, Mr. Gnanaprakasam, Treasurer, TELC, Mr. Ruban Andrews, CC Member, and Dr. M. Prathiba, Director, JEH, along with other dignitaries. You could refine that for smoother flow and stronger emphasis on the continuity of his legacy: Our beloved Dr. Joseph himself donated his eyes to restore the sight of two individuals—a gesture of compassion that continues to inspire and expand to this day.
